Crate lace_rt

Crate lace_rt

Source
Expand description

Standalone synchronous Rust runtime for Lace with Mio-driven I/O.

Each bounded operation owns its reactor. An open interlace retains the reactor for its lifetime. No Tokio runtime, task, or hidden transport worker participates.

Re-exports§

pub use policy::IntoPolicy;

Modules§

policy
Policy preparation before participant claiming or replacement staging.
prelude
records
types

Macros§

record
Build and validate a record from a RecordSpec literal.
spec
Build a RecordSpec from Rust literal syntax.

Structs§

BoundedInterlaceOutcome
BySecret
The single zeroizing owner for canonical private By-secret value (&.<b64a>.H3).
ByValue
Canonical record-facing By value (V.<b64a>.H3).
ChannelBinding
Binding supplied by the owner of a completed encrypted channel. This value is public transcript data, not an independent authority credential.
CompactionReport
CompilationError
CompilationLimits
ConnectedPeer
A move-only connected participant over host-established byte IO.
ConnectedPeerOptions
Error
FieldExclusion
A Lace-130 exclusion: records carrying a matching Field occurrence.
FieldOccurrence
One borrowed Plex application-field occurrence.
ForEachStream
GetOutcome
InterlaceModule
Public 040 interlace module.
InterlaceOperationOptions
IoSettings
Runtime configuration of physical IO, not an operation option.
Lace
LaceHandle
A clonable capability to one store-backed Lace.
ListOutcome
LocalPeer
A clonable local participant that supplies its own prepared operand.
OpenBoundaryOutcome
OpenInterlace
PortText
What a preface’s sender wants to talk to: SEGMENT(/SEGMENT)*, each segment one or more printable ASCII bytes other than /, at most PORT_MAX_BYTES in total.
PortableStoreFormat
The sizes a portable file store root is created with. Reopening a root uses the sizes recorded at its creation.
Record
A validated record: verified canonical bytes from one retained source.
RecordHash
RecordSpec
Application-facing record construction intent.
RecordStream
The validated records of one record stream, in stream order; see read_record_stream.
SessionOperand
One logical session’s prepared local operand and optional expected peer By.
StoreOutcome
StoreRecordResult
StoreStream
The open counterpart of store: offers records one at a time; see store_stream.

Enums§

ArenaRelease
Whether the freed arena tail was released to the filesystem.
CarrierRole
CompilationErrorKind
ErrorCategory
The Lace-100 error category shared by machine, core, and public errors.
InterlaceEvent
A bounded-outcome event; RecordSaved reports only the record hash.
OpenBoundary
OpenEvent
An open-stream event. RecordSaved carries the admitted owned record; bounded outcomes project it to the hash-only InterlaceEvent.
Participant
One application participant supplied to an interlace operation.
ParticipantPosition
PeerProofAssurance
PreparationError
Typed preparation failure shared by core validation and authoring frontends.
RecordCreateError
Error returned by application-facing record construction.
RecordKind
Record kind identified by the record glyph line.
StoreRecordDisposition
StreamEncoding
One direction’s stream encoding, named by its preface token.
Terminal
TimeoutPhase

Traits§

IntoRecordBatch
Convert owned or borrowed validated records into a store-operation batch.
WriteShutdown
Settles adopted local-to-peer output at clean completion.

Functions§

bounded_interlace
bounded_interlace_with_options
compact_filesystem
Remove every record of the filesystem root at root that none of policies selects, and release its bytes in place.
compile
Compile one self-contained Interlang contribution with the default source bound. Empty and helper-only contributions have no exchange facet and are rejected.
compile_with_limits
Compile one complete source with an explicit source-byte bound. The fixed exchange rule, arity, and static TopK bounds apply to every emitted rule. Source loading and configuration remain application work, outside compilation.
configure_io
Set lace-rt’s IO settings for work set up afterwards. Existing reservations stay until they are returned; a lower budget only refuses new ones.
for_each
for_each_with_options
generate_by_secret
Generate a canonical By-secret value from OS randomness.
get
get_with_options
list
list_with_options
new_record
Construct and validate the one record kind implied by caller intent.
open_interlace
open_interlace_with_options
open_interlace_with_selector
Open an interlace between a local Lace selector chooses, position First, and peer, position Second. Every logical session takes its operand and optional expected peer By from selector, called with the port of that session’s peer preface; the first call also chooses the Lace, which serves the whole carrier, so a later call must return it again. None, or another Lace, refuses the session as PeerProtocol. Until the first selection the operation owns the transport and its prefacing deadline but no Lace. peer must not carry an expected peer By, and the operation takes no policy replacement.
prepare_facet_constraints
Compose authoring and guest policies into one canonical operand.
read_record_stream
Read the records of a record stream from reader, one at a time.
store
store_stream
Open store’s interlace against target with an empty private provider and drive it to its first fixed point; then StoreStream::offer each record.
store_stream_with_options
store_with_options
